A Hundred Thousand Ringgit For What?

UMNO boss, and criminal trial defendant, Zahid is complaining he “only got” that large amount of money for his constituency.

First question is what from vote of public money was the allocation, and presumably others to PN MLAs, authorised? Is there now a publicly acknowledged Budget provision for “backhanders” to PN MLAs?. If so does it extend to opposition members? Let “PM8” clarify that before the public assume that this is just another instance of PN corruption.

Perhaps he could add a word of explanation on “accountability” Does any record of how these, clearly illegal, handouts were spent have to be submitted? Or do the recipients have complete discretion how they are spent? In the latter case it is doubtful if a single sen was  sent from recipients pockets to any of their “constituents”
