Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Adenan Satem yesterday hailed Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as the best prime minister, as far as Sarawak is concerned.
Speaking at the Saratok-leg of the ‘Sejiwa Senada’ programme here, which was launched by Najib at Dataran Saratok, Adenan said Najib had placed the people of Sarawak very close to his heart.
He added that ever since becoming the nation’s top executive, Najib had made more visits to the state than any of his predecessors.
Each time he came, he would bring good news, such as allocating funds for infrastructure projects, particularly in the rural areas, he said. “Sarawak needs a caring leader like Najib to help it catch up with Peninsular Malaysian in terms of development. “
We in Sarawak want what our brothers and sisters in Peninsular Malaysia have.
Adenan has flip-flopped over whether he wishes to distance himself from Najib or suck up.
He wants his campaign to benefit from all that money, which Najib is sloshing around with the openly corrupt purpose of buying votes, so now we see his praises.
Last week, on the other hand, Adenan alleged he was not so keen on Najib and was pro-autonomy, which understandably Sarawakians crave.
What Adenan does not want to admit is that Sarawak BN is the cats paw of UMNO, which has run the state for the benefit of elite West Malaysians for the last 50 years, in return for rich livings for a few local politicians.
Meanwhile, Najib is trying to pretend that the money he is handing out for these Sarawak elections is a “donation” from a mystery foreign personage.
In fact, this cash is just a small fraction of what has been stolen from the people of Sarawak and Malaysia by this band of brigands, who are sprinkling a little back in the hope of reaping yet another harvest from a gullible vote-selling public.
Time to give them a bloody nose – the only way to teach politicians is to vote them out.
Anyone but BN!
